On the nose, very evocative of strawberry and raspberry with a floral note of rose petals. The palate recalls red fruits and is augmented by hints of citrus fruit, mandarin orange and a small, very refined touch of white pepper.

Crisp and lacy, this harmonious rosé Champagne offers toasty hints of biscuit, raw almond and pastry dough as well as a pretty range of dried white cherry, blood orange pith and spun honey.

Pinot Noir is the most widely planted vine in the Côte des Bar, the origin of this wine. It is bone dry and very crisp, with an attractive red-currant fruitiness that brings in a light structure. The bottling needs to age, so wait until early 2020 before drinking.
