Tedeschi is credited with creating one of Valpolicella’s first single-vineyard wines from its 2.5-hectare (6-acre) Monte Olmi vineyard in Pedemonte di Valpolicella. The vineyard is predominantly planted to Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Rossignola vines on southwest-facing stone terraces. These grape varieties form the major foundation of Agricola Tedeschi’s flagship wine – the Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Classico Riserva. This wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for up to four years, before it is bottled and aged for a further six months.
